Pursuant to article 6-III of French Act no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy, this notice identifies the publisher of the site and its host.

Site publisher

The Protocolis service (hereinafter "the Service") is published by a legal entity currently being incorporated at the Lille trade and companies register. During this structuring phase, publication and editorial responsibility are assumed by the natural person who founded the project.

The identity of the publication director and the postal address are provided upon request at this address, in accordance with article 6-III-2° of the Act on confidence in the digital economy.

The full company details (registered name, SIRET number, intra-EU VAT number, registered office address, identity of the publication director) will be published on this page as soon as the entity is effectively registered, planned during 2026.

Hosting

The Service is hosted on infrastructure located in France, operated by the publisher on dedicated hardware. Migration to a French commercial cloud host certified HDS (Hosting of Health Data) is planned ahead of the commercial launch of the Service.

Intellectual property

All elements composing the Service (text, software, architectures, interfaces, trademarks, illustrations, blog editorial content) are protected by copyright and trademark law. Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication or adaptation, in whole or in part, is forbidden without prior written authorisation from the publisher.

Content produced by Users (synopses, protocols, conversations) remains their property, under the conditions set out in the Terms of Use.

Exclusion of patient data

Protocolis is a tool for designing clinical research protocols, upstream of any patient data collection. The Service is not intended to process personal data relating to patients or research participants. The User undertakes not to enter such data on the platform.

Artificial intelligence

The Service integrates AI features provided by Anthropic and OpenAI, governed by data processing agreements compliant with articles 28 and 46 of the GDPR. The outputs generated by these models constitute decision support and do not replace the User's judgement, nor validation by the competent bodies (research office, ethics committee, ANSM).

Personal data

The processing of personal data by the publisher is described in a detailed privacy policy. Users have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection and restriction, exercisable at contact@protocolis.fr.

A complaint may be lodged with the French data protection authority (CNIL), cnil.fr.
